Hi friends,
I've been imagining how I want my life to look in 10 years from now. Typically, this mental exercise would try to portray my ideal image of a successful life. Here's what has been playing in my thoughts so far.
In 10 years from now, I see myself going about my day without worrying about adjusting my time for others. In this image, people pay high respect for my time in which they come to me instead of the other way around. No more scheduling appointments, no more waiting for a bus to go places, no more being in line for groceries, no more lines for a haircut and etc. Essentially, I don't have to wait in line for any goods and services.
Time is a concept that I'm starting to understand the importance of. It's invisible to all of our senses yet we can still feel it. We feel it the most only after we've lost it. Unlike other precious commodities, you can't get it back no matter how hard you work for it.
So I guess my idea of success is anything that has to do with me having more of time. If I could just automate the routine, delegate the work, finding better alternatives in everything to make life more efficient in order to have more time to do the things that I want to do, then that is the image of success that I aspire to be in.
The inspiration for today's post came from countless hours wasted waiting for people to reply my email inquiries.
End. Thanks for reading, friends.
